I am Paola Páez, architect of Venezuelan origin. Graduated from the Central University of Venezuela. I have had the opportunity to practice my profession for 20 years in my second homeland, Holland. The move to this country has enriched me with the experience of European culture. Teaching me to be more tolerant and giving me the capacity to adapt to new and unpredictable situations. Living in Europe has allowed me to experience being close to the work of many architects admired in my time as a student as well as value and promote my Latin roots.
WHAT I DO
I design, develop and supervise projects in the field of architecture, interior and furniture design and combine different disciplines from design of new buildings, renovation to interior design. This includes:
- public buildings: offices, businesses and industrial complexes
- residential buildings: houses and
- retail: shops and visitor centers
I am working with professionals in other fields, taking individual and team responsibilities. This envolves conceptual clarity in structuring, leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Interest in professional development.
My desire is to use and combine my passions and interests in design and art in my work. In so doing, I hope to inspire people to see original approaches and opportunities.
My intention is to develop an architecture with identity wich can exceed user expectations and create spaces where people feel comfortable. In all cases my designs take account of economic and environment viability.
Innovation, sustainability, identity and collaboration with all parties involved are key factors in my designs.
